Adrián Ferrero and Alberto Acedo
Alberto Acedo is currently the co-founder/Chief Science Officer of Biome Makers.
He previously gained experience as a researcher in genetics at the University of León, where he became an honorary associate. He accumulates more than 5 years of research in human genetics at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the Spanish National Research Council. He also co-founded AC-Gen Reading Life, a human genetics business, with Adrián Ferrero,
He holds a Ph.D. in Genetic Medicine and Biomedical Applications from the University of Valladolid and Bachelor in Environmental Science with specialization in environmental technology from the University of León.
Adrian Ferrero is currently the co-founder/CEO of Biome Makers. He co-founded the company with Albert Acedo in 2016 to lead the understanding of the soil microbiome for a more sustainable and productive agriculture.
Prior to Biome Makers, Adrian founded three startups, AC-Gen Reading Life, InnoEconomy and Prevema. He has also worked as an innovation consultant for more than nine years focused on public funding in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation and the future of the internet.
Adrian holds a Bachelor in Economic Science and a Master in Enviromental Technologies.
